Some of France's oldest and most famous golf courses
are in the South West of France.

Paguetout is ideally positioned in the rural area between the wealthy cities of Bordeaux
and Biarritz which means it is surrounded by a large number of high quality courses.

Apart from a couple of them being amongst the best in Europe, added advantages of the courses are the beautiful forest or coastal settings, the low cost compared to other European golf destinations and the fact that they are pleasantly free of crowds.

Whether you are here renting one of the properties or whether you are here on a Bed & Breakfast basis, if you play golf the south west of France has a lot to offer.

A group of guests rented the larger house last June for two weeks and played a different course almost every day, returning to play their favourites Moliets and Seignosse a second time. They also greatly enjoyed the course at Mont de Marsan, which is the nearest large town to us, 35 km away.

Spring and autumn are perhaps the best times of the year to play if you wish to avoid the 35 degree heat in July and August. If you do come in the spring or the autumn you will either be renting the smaller house or staying at the Bed and Breakfast.

Some of the further courses are up to 45 minutes drive away from the house so it cannot be claimed that they are on your doorstep. However, returning to such a special place as Paguetout every day will be such a pleasure that this won't bother you at all.

If you are with us on a Bed & Breakfast basis we will do everything during your stay to make your holiday as enjoyable and care-free as possible. This includes, of course, fantastic food and wine and a good breakfast each morning but if you wish we can be involved in the preparation of your holiday, such as organising your passes and providing route maps so you know where you are going each morning! We can also organise afternoons of wine tasting, clay-pigeon shooting, horse riding….

We provide a very warm and friendly atmosphere at Paguetout and are very attentive to your requirements and this is what you will appreciate about staying with us compared to a standard golf hotel.
